This looks amazing. Not sure what genre this is. Speculative fiction, fantasy? Either way I cannot wait to read this one. I am so excited by the premise of where these mermaids came from, it's really original. The diverse fiction coming out is amazing and upending all the tired tropes, and this is yet another great example. Fiction is in an amazing place right now.
