I have never read anything with such emotion and depth. The author's writing keeps just drawn in and wanting more. I love the dialogue between the characters so far. The whole idea of this story is just pure genius. "The water-breathing descendants of African slave women tossed overboard have built their own underwater society," after reading this line I went right to the excerpt to read.The book cover is so immensely beautiful.I feel that this book will be an important and empowering read for everyone, and most likely become my favorite book of the year.
