This was a fun read. It's also based on a real life family so that made it better. The Davenports was a clean wholesome book that made me.smile. I really liked getting to know this family. Ot was fast paced and kept my attention that I didn't put the book down till I finished the whole story. I can't wait to get book 2 so I can find out what happenes to Ruby Olivia Amy-Rose and Helen since book 1 ended quickly. The Davenports is a lovely period drama that I will read again th redresh myself before the More Than This sequel comes out in November.i had been wanting more diverse books on my physical bookshelf and this was a great one to start with. This book also deserves to be a tv show I can see one of the big companies making it like Amazon Netflix or even Disney Plus because it's something that I think people will like to watch on their TV. I'm also going to try to get the audio book to listen to as well.
