I really don't like the cover so I wasn't expecting much. I know, I know. Don't judge a book by it's cover but hey we all do it. The cover is just so loud. The yellow is way to bright and I can't get passed how much yellow there is. The story was better than I expected though and I did really enjoy the bit I read. It used terminology that was often used in Bridgerton so that is probably why I liked it so much. At this point if you put Bridgerton or anything like Bridgerton out there I am going to love it. Although I would be nervous buying anything for the library that reminds me of Bridgerton because even though it is much to old a show for teens it is likely that many have seen it and I would be uncomfortable having anything that reminded anyone of Bridgerton. That is not the type of show I would want to have any comparable books in the teen section of the library.
