I waited a while to receive this book, but the minute I received it, I devoured it so quickly!
This is a beautifully written story with so many wonderful characters. I do want to say that at times I did get slightly overwhelmed with how many characters there were and had to stop to review and make sure I was thinking of the correct person. I did like how the chapters jumped around to the different women, but I found myself drawn to Helen's view more than the others. I would have liked to have seen a focus on her, more than on the others but also understand that every reader is going to connect with different storylines.
I felt like the imagery was okay, but I would have liked to be more immersed in the environment. I felt like we got little details here and there about what people were wearing, but felt like we could have been more immersed. Some chapters immersed you more than others.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book!
