I'm so excited to keep reading it when it's finished. Marquis does an excellent job at making all four women appealing and distinctive to the reader. I can already imagine the chaos following these girls because they all have their baggage to claim. She knows how much drama she is inciting between these girls, and I have no idea how to prepare for it.
I'm looking forward to reading Olivia's arc most because I can picture her becoming an advocate for Black issues, but I'll be paying extra attention to Helen's story because I'm not sure how Marquis is going to juggle love and Helen wanting a prominent role in her father's business.
And, my god, that cover. I feel like committing to the bright yellow really captures the rich splendor, dreams, and opportunity expressed in these chapters.
