I definitely want to read this! First, the cover is beautiful. I love the art and the character designs. The colors are so pretty with the yellow dresses. Second, the letter from the author is so intriguing. It explains how the Davenport family is based on a real family in history. This is a story that so needs to be told and piece of history that we are missing. This feels so amazing and I’m so excited that it exists.
