Once again I’ve found myself pleasantly surprised that a book falling outside my typical reads captures my attention and leaves me wanting to read on! The writing thus far is extremely strong and I love how each chapter is told from a different character’s perspective! From the very beginning, the characters are painted vividly; I can easily imagine myself being friends with each of the Davenport sisters!
However, the cover doesn’t appeal to me. I feel it looks too old-fashioned and needs a more modern, updated look to appeal to readers today.
Having read the first look, I definitely want to read on! I can’t wait to find out what sorts of mischief and adventures each of the leading ladies experience in this young adult novel!
