This book purports to be a family drama, a story of a rich Black family when rich and Black were not words that went together.But it's more than that. It's about rights and dignity being forced into places you don't want to be. Several of our characters are also women, with the diminished futures women have always been given. It will be interesting to see where the author takes things.
