Based on the first look, if you liked Downton Abbey or Bridgerton, you will love this book. I am absolutely here for the drama, romance, but most of all of the diversity. We have seen countless versions of these shows come through supporting an all or almost all white cast, and I am thrilled at the fact that this book's main characters are black. It's about time we had a 1910s romance novel featuring poc. I threw this on my TBR right away and cannot wait to read it when it comes out!
