This book has such a great cast of characters already, this excerpt was awesome, and I'm so interested in each of their stories. I'm totally excited to see the sparks fly between Olivia and Mr. DeWight, especially because you know she is going to get drawn deeper into the civil rights movement, and it's going to be so eye opening for her and life changing, and I can't wait to read it! Helen's story should be interesting once the love interest part kicks in, right now it's so sad with her disappointing her father at the end. Ruby's story arc, oh my goodness, I cannot wait to see what happens, because you just know she is not going to get the brother, and those parents of hers have me so anxious to see what happens next! And of course, I'm 100% rooting for Amy Rose, and I'm really hoping she doesn't have any set backs or heartache because she is so sweet and genuine and I really want her to have her dreams come true! I am very excited for this book and hope I win a copy, but if not, I'll for sure be reading it when it releases!
