What fun! I was drawn in by the premise of the story revolving around a Black family in the 1910s, and the first chapter was immediately enticing. I love strong female characters, and getting to read the stories of four strong Black females is a great bonus, especially ones set in a time when women (and women of color particularly) did not have the same rights as they do now. Looking forward to reading this one!
