The Davenports is a YA historical romance which I definitely think there should be more of, but unfortunately it just didn't connect with me. I was already skeptical reading the blurb because I usually don't like when a character loves this character, but that character loves someone else who also loves yet someone else. I decided to try it out anyhow hoping it would grab me, but it did not.
