What a beautiful, attention grabbing cover! I was unaware of the Patterson family who founded Patterson & Sons carriage company previous to reading the author's note, very interesting to read a story inspired by that family set in 1900's Chicago. Great to see the representation here. I almost got a bit of a Little Women vibe with each sister's dreams & hopes for their life. The first look was easy to read & easy to picture the scenes in your mind, anyone who enjoys historical fiction would likely enjoy this one.
