Wow. I did not fully realize how much I missed the world this author has created, within the original Lux series, until I read this spin-off. Not a lot of authors continue to tell stories in the world they have created, after the primary series has ended, but I am happy that Armentrout did. From the first introduction of Luc in the Lux series, I knew that he was one of the more fascinating and complex and interesting characters, so I was thrilled to here that a new spin-off series would be centered around him. As for the book itself, I thought it was wonderfully put together. It was a good mix of character building, romantic tension, action, and self-growth. The story was very well paced and did not feel to fast or too slow in any spots. This book has reignited my interest in Armentrout’s writing, and I cannot wait for the next book in this new spin-off series!!!
