The title didn't really stand out to me.

This book was boring and predictable. It starts off by introducing the the fact that there are these aliens that are far more attractive than the average human being. What?? After I read that part I just couldn't find the motivation to continue. I couldn't connect with the main character at all. Maybe the reason that I can't bring myself to like this series is because this was a spin-off of her other series, LUX and I have not read LUX and therefore is not interested in this spin-off series. However, I cannot deny the fact that this series failed to rope me in as a fellow reader. The cover was eye-catching and did look like something I would pick off of the shelves of my library, but I learned my lesson now to not judge books by the cover.
