What. A. Romance. This ends up being the most fun book. Evie is such a strong character and is a great contemporary role model for young girls. The fantasy wasn’t too strong, so I really think this is good for all kinds of readers. Also the Descriptions are amazing. I had to keep reminding myself that Lux aren’t really. The world building is done SO SO well. And the twist really left me speechless. Evie is in for the biggest surprise of her life. It’s heartbreaking yet endearing. I wish I had a friend like Evie. This was such a fast read. I read it in one sitting. I’m so excited for the rest of the series and to see where the Lux go and what Evie does next. She is unpredictable in the best most fun way.
