I have not read The Lux series before, but I have been thinking about reading them. Now on to the review. The Darkest Star is the spinoff of the The Lux saga. In the beginning of the book, Evie and her friend went to the club called Foretoken for fun. Then, she somewhat did have fun. Next, she met Luc after someone sent her somewhere in the club and everything changed.
The book was interesting, yet amazing. I could not put the book down because I wanted to see what happened with the the rest of the story. Great choice of characters. Perfect read for science fiction fans. You can read The Lux if you want. Overall, The Darkest Star was great and the author did an amazing job writing this book. I hope there's the next book of this series.
