I loved this book the first time I read it and it was called Twilight. And it had shiny, super fast vampires instead of aliens. And there weren't any cringe worthy nicknames. I was really looking forward to this one after reading a sneak peek on Bookishfirst, and I do have to admit I haven't read any of the books in the Lux world, but I just couldn't stop rolling my eyes at the repetitive similarities to the most famous teen fantasy series. It does get three stars from me, because it was entertaining and I kept reading until the end. I'm not sure if I would pick up the next one in the series or not. It would have to have glowing reviews.
