Apparently this series has a massive following. I'd never heard of it before but it was some pretty fun mindless YA fluff that made for a good afternoon read. The characters are solid, the backstory didn't require the take up of the entire book to bring me up to speed on what was going on and there was a pretty decent little twist mid way through. Not sure if I'd have known about it if I'd read the other books, but doesn't really matter either way. Decent steamy love scenes between the protagonists and Evie isn't a completely mindless little bot following after the too good to be true mantagonist, so that was fun. I'd look forward to reading the next one in the series if given the opportunity, Jennifer Armentrout can spin a good tale, it was a fun read.
