There is nothing like stepping back into a world that it’s been a while since you’ve visited, a world that felt so comfortable and familiar, that it’s like time never passed. That’s what it was like digesting the first few chapters of this book. Fans of the Luxen are welcomed back with open arms, expanding the universe that Jennifer Armentrout created and made us fall in love with. In just the preview, there are secrets, surprises and scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m looking forward to seeing what Luc and Evie have up their sleeves for us. It’s bound to be an interesting ride!
The cover of the book is nice, albeit a bit plain. I would have liked to see a little bit more tie in with the original series, so one would know they were related. But overall, I like the appearance of the book and would pick it up to find out more if I saw it in store.
