If you roll all of the High lords of Acotar tpgether with the Herondales you still wouldn't have the smolder that Luc portrays in these pages. I LITTERALLY shivered with Evie! The Darkest Star pulls you in on the first page and there are instant parallels drawn to the current immigration crisis in America, and other times in history when people were forced to hide because they were different. You feel for the Luxen in this book because no race/ or species should be hunted. I cannot wait to see how the rest of this book unfolds, and hope this isn't the last we will see of Luc and Evie whose chemistry explodes in the pages! I will be recommending the Lux series and have added it to my September TBR list!
