At first glance of the synopsis, I was not sure that this book about aliens and lux was anything that I would choose. HOWEVER, the first peek changed my perception. The writing flows well, and I can immediately relate to the imagery presented as the character description of a mother's wrath when she finds her child is up to something. I once was a teenager so the actions unfolding are completely possible!
The cover art is beautiful in a childlike way. It doesn't seem to match the theme, or at least my perceived theme, of the book. I envision something a tad more darker to suit the plot line.
