Gotta say the alien twist in the beginning took me by surprise. I didn't realize this was an alien war type of book just by the cover. I love alien invasion stories, but this one also involves a romance between humans and aliens, that's where I feel Evie and Luc's relationship is going at least. I also really want to know what deal there was for Evie to be kept away from him. Is he part alien as well? Can't wait to read more and find out.
