Captivating, Fabulous world-building, Enigmatic and appealing characters.
The books has interesting start. The world building was remarkable. Author started to depict the world from the very first chapter. Terminologies for aliens, gadgets, forces protecting humans was clearly explained. Alien invasion and war with humans, their appearance, rules after their settlement was engaging enough that I didn't want to stop reading.
It was fascinating, had super fast pace, and oh my, swoon worthy main character- Luc. Luc was written so amazingly. He instantly had that charming spell bounding effect not only on Evie but on readers as well. Can you fall in love with the character about whom you haven't read much yet? Try reading this then. ! I wonder how he knew Evie just by seeing her! What's the mystery about him and what's behind everyone's reactions on seeing Evie at club?
I admit I haven't read Lux series or any book by Jennifer Armentrout but after reading these few chapters I'm going to grab all of them including this.
