Beautiful aliens and teenagers
Armentrout's The Darkest Star draws you in quickly with an appealing cover and likeable teenager Evie. Evie gets roped in to going to an alien bar with her friend where she meets Luc, a non-human she has an instant connection with. Which is bad for Evie, because it seems it will keep drawing her into trouble she doesn't need to be in. This seems fun and perfectly suited to teenagers, although it definitely appealed to me too. I wish I had the background of Armentrout's first series, because that would it an even more fun read.
