Librarian: Of course this one will be among the ordered books for the year. We have all of the previous books in the series, so why would we not order this one as as well? Not ordering the fourth book in a popular series would just be silly, especially right after the movie came out. Even though the movie didn't do so hot, it caused enough of a readership spike that we need the next one.
Reader: I'm not a huge fan of this series. I've always found them to be a bit derivative. Still they're very well written and the set up is a world that's quite a bit more infuriating than the worlds of other books in the genre. That remains true in this book, even as the lens shifts to become focused on Zu. She proves to be a strong main character, and I look forward to seeing more from her perspective in the future. (It's not like my job is going to let me stop reading these.)
