Incredible story, filled with lots of action.

First off, I'll have to admit that I haven't read any of the Darkest Minds series prior to this book. I caught on pretty quickly on what was happening, and loved every moment of it. The book does goes back into time several times to help explain more about the world, and the character's relationships. This book is none stop action, and I am definitely a fan of this series now.
The writing is so easy to follow, and the story will keep you reading long into the night. The story is dark, edgy and original. The characters are fun and unique. Priyanka quickly became one of my favorites, I love how she can be so fun and sassy despite her horrible back story.
If you haven't read The Darkest Minds series, definitely put it on your to be read list.
