Alexandra Bracken has to be one of my favourite YA authors of all time and that means a lot! I love her style of writing and how she uses themes of magic but in the real world.
I’ve been so excited about this book for so long and I’ve now gotten to read a snippet and I’m so excited! It sounded amazing and I love that it is from zu’s perspective since we didn’t teally get to hear much about her from the previous books.
Another thing I love about it was the way it starts - it’s calm but gives you information as well as hooking you in to the story.
I can already tell that it’s going to be one of my very favourite books and I haven’t even read 100 pages!
The characters are interesting, the story is interesting and the writing is brilliant. What more could you want?!
