This book was amazing. It was so awesome to see Zu again after 5 years, and to see what the Black Betty gang had been up to! It was sad to see how they fell apart for awhile, but I love what Liam and Ruby were doing! Priyanka and Roman are exceptional characters as well. I was wary of them at first but I gre to trust and love them. Priya especially. My favorite part was when everyone was at the farm house. The calm before the storm, even through a certain someone couldn't be there.
You definitely need to have read the Novella bind up, Through The Dark, to understand some things but I think it's possible you could get by, you would just be confused.
I was left wanting a sequel to this, but Alex said this would just be a single. :(
