The Darkest Legacy is amazing.
It takes place five years into the future, after In The Afterlife. It’s wonderfully told from Zu’s perspective. I love how it can read as a complete standalone.
It’s full of complex characters that work with Zu as she tries and clears her name. She doesn’t know who to trust, and who not to trust as she fights to stay alive. She goes on a long, harrowing journey, uncovering secrets she’s sure will get her and her allies killed. Her journey was filled with emotional turmoil.
This book was fast paced that kept me entertained. It was thrilling and suspenseful. There was nonstop action that will keep you on your toes. I felt like I was there with Zu, fighting her fight with her, and wanting to protect her.
I really hope there is more to come for this series.
