Very suspenseful, knock it out of the park thriller that’s timely and terrifying. Considering we got a whopping 83 pages with this first look, I wish we’d gotten a little bit more of the world building aspect so I’d know more of what I was dealing with when it comes to all the millions of missing/dead children but it appears to be different factions of kids that have (elemental/psychic)? Powers? Not sure, all we got in the first 83 pages was that one girl has powers to tap into the energy around her and use it to power herself. It appears that she’s being used as a tool for the government and she’s surrounded by people, not knowing who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. Now she’s on the run with two other kids, possibly psi as well, and this is shaping up to be a great read!
