Like many YA fans, I've read my fair share of dystopian novels. More often than not, they feel like the same plot used over and over again, with a somewhat different main character. Alexandra Bracken's The Darkest Minds series, however, was unique and refreshing with a loveable cast of characters. I never expected her to continue the series with Zu's story, but after reading the sample, I'm thrilled she did. I'm excited to read this new installment, and look forward its release date.
