Okay, I NEED to start this series

I haven't yet read "The Darkest Minds," so I feel a little lost in the First Look and description of this book. Still, it sounds like an epic series worthy of my attention! I like the representation here, as well as the powerful female characters. The cover art is gorgeous; I know it will be catching eyes.
