I had to do a little homework, having never read works by this author before. This book appears to be a stand-alone or a take of from a previous trilogy known as Darkest Minds.
My first impression is that this book reminds me of the Hunger Games and/or the Maze Runner series. I am definitely intrigued enough to want to know more, and to read the previous titles.
The cover art is well-selected. I definitely want to know more about Zu.
