the summary sounded awesome but once I started reading the excerpt, I was just... confused. The prologue sounded like the beginning of a 2000’s thriller movie but a badly written one? I found myself having to reread sentences constantly to try & figure out what the author was trying to say. It also seemed like the author just used the thesaurus opinion in microsoft word. The more I read, the more uninterested I became. This one is definitely not for me & that’s weird since I love crime dramas (both fiction & non-fictional) but... the cover is cool!
