The Darkest Glare is probably my favorite first impression I've ever read on Bookishfirst. Sometimes true crime can be written rather boring and clinical but Chip Jacob's does the exact opposite. He writes without sensationalizing the events but also doesn't skirt what actually happened. Id give this 100 stars if I could. I love the cover and everything about this.
