YA thriller meets camping!
While reading this book I was 16 again, going to cheerleading camp for a week. I was taken back to the cafeteria eating salad and drinking the famous Pine Forest chocolate milk!!!
I finished this book in the month of June and actually really enjoyed it. It was a fast read for me. I enjoyed the then vs now POV & was not expecting the ending! This book was a YA thriller and was a quick summer thriller to read by the pool. If you ever went to summer camp this book will bring back core memories for you. I kept reading this book and thinking back to activities and the atmosphere that I felt or experienced at summer camp. The characters were easy to understand however weren't my favorite. I had to keep in mind that this was a YA and was going to be a little different from the thrillers that I am used to reading however I still thought this story was enjoyable.
