This was a pretty good young adult mystery. I loved the summer camp setting of this book. Although this was a slow burn mystery, there was a lot packed into the pages of this book. I appreciated this book’s dual timeline and how we switched timelines pretty much every chapter. The short chapters of the past timeline gave me just enough history to keep me intrigued throughout the book as I slowly learned more about the characters and the mystery. I didn’t particularly love any of the characters in this book and found the pacing a bit to slow for my personal preference, but overall this was a very good young adult mystery. I think I would have enjoyed this one a bit more if I had liked the characters more, but overall it was a good mystery book. If you like young adult slow burn mysteries and summer camp book settings you may want to give this one a try.
