Could guess the ending, but I still really liked it!

The Counselors was a fun mystery and I am so happy I was given an opportunity to review it- thank you for the copy, BookishFirst, publisher, and Jessica Goodman! I really enjoyed the camp setting. I never went to camp, but always wanted to, so I appreciated the backdrop for the storyline. I enjoyed the 'then' and 'now' perspective and that we only received short fragments at a time. I also liked that it wasn't always in chronological order, but a snapshot of whatever, whenever the reader needed to figure out what was going on in the camp. I admit I figured out at least a couple layers of the mystery and knew who was involved in the teenager's death well before the end, but it was still really well written and enjoyable to read (so it didn't turn me off from the rest of the book). You never know for sure until those final pages anyways, right? Great book!
