This is a book many young adults would probably find appealing. I feel some sympathy for Goldie and the predicament she has gotten herself into. In general, though, I don’t feel much admiration for Imo, Ava, Goldie, the “ townies”, or any of the young people really. The idea of these young people who are working as counselors at a camp and drinking to excess while underage is sad. I hope the story ends up having a good moral of some sort.
