Goldie is a counselor at a high class camp, where everyone is rich and privileged - but she herself is a 'townie', and an ostracized one during the school year, now that she was involved in an accident that paralyzed a popular boy. The book plays up these class differences, this double life, setting up an air of unease, and I think it would be interesting to see where it goes. But I don't much like contemporary YA, so I'll pass on this book.
