Lost in the world of summer camp, The Counselors is perfectly written to encapsulate all the feels of the summer days of camp. the smells, the memories, the moments of excitement, the days that we are meant to remember forever--the moments that shape us. But this story, alternating between "then" and "now" is seeming to lead down a sinister path, the alternating timelines hinting that, somehow, this idyllic summer, something is amiss...or about to be. I love stories like these. The summer camp thriller. Maybe it's because I spent my entire child hood away at camp, and then later, my adulthood, as a counselor. I can't wait to read The Counselors and NEED NEED NEED this book in my hands!
