A summer camp thriller? Yes, please! First of all, I'd like to talk about the actual book design. The cover is amazing and I love the details on the actual book pages. This synopsis pulled me in right away even though I don't read a ton of YA. For me to pick up a YA thriller, it really has to grab my attention, which this one did. This book switches from the present to the past at Camp Alpine Lake. Goldie is a counselor this year and she's hiding a secret. I can't wait to find out how the secrets unravel. I already love the descriptive writing. I felt like I was back at summer camp while reading this. This promises to be a good read for adults with a bit of nostalgia and for teens who will be able to relate to Goldie and her friends. I cannot wait to read the rest of this one!
