I don't think there's a setting better suited to a thriller novel than a summer camp. Secluded in the wilderness with a very small adult to teen ratio, it just makes sense that bad things can happen! I will personally never send my child to a summer camp because I don't want her to become bait for some psycho.

Looking at the cover, I was immediately pulled in by the blood on the swimsuit. It instantly gave me "Friday the 13th" type vibes. The First Look hooked me immediately. I love how the author starts out with a short prologue that is oozing with foreshadowing. It's clear that something very bad is going on at Camp Alpine Lake and I am very interested in learning what that something is. The chapters alternate between "Then" and "Now," which I think is a very clever way to build the suspense. I just know I'll fly through this book because of that!
