The cover is not particularly eye-catching at first glance. it's only after a second look that you see the blood drops and realize that the book is probably a mystery.
The story takes a while to get going but, once it does, it reveals a pretty intriguing mystery. I didn't find the characters particularly interesting; they seemed pretty stereotypical.
