Jessica Goodman is steadily climbing up my list of favorite authors. Her writing style is so easy to read but still attention-grabbing. I quite like how the mystery of the incident with Goldie slowly unravels; it makes me want to keep reading and find out more. And we haven't even reached the core mystery of the novel, which sounds super interesting! Goldie encapsulates the conflict of feeling out of place so well, and I really sympathize with her. I cannot wait to read The Counselors!
