The first look was very similar to other YA novels that deal with a summertime mystery. It wasnt too similar that I overlooked it but just familiar enough that it let me know I would also enjoy this book. The cover is mysterious and it drew me in to want to know more. I would want to read more to find out what happens as the first look engaged me.
