The book was interesting, although was not something I would normally go for. The book did an excellent job at describing the characters. Each have gone through something that impacts them and they are dealing with. I felt like the story line from the sample was overall slow and nothing to engage the reader. I really liked the cover, it is hard to know what the book is about from the cover. The bond that the siblings have is something that was very nice to read about. The writing style was not bad and I found it was easy to follow along. The sample that was provided made it easy to imagine being there and being a part of the family. It truly shows the strength of a family. I have not read any from this author before but I will probably give their work a chance as they come highly recommended. Overall the sample was so so but I would not rule out other work from the author
