A quick read revolving around family, loyalty, and sacrifice. I found that this was beautiful story of strength and support in a family. Some of the parts were kind of slow at times but for stories like this I think sometimes that is key. It gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling as their story played out. Seeing the Connelly’s come together thru hard times and worked together to overcome their trials was happiness. It wasn’t a mind blowing emotional read which kept me from that 5th star but it was still a beautiful family story I enjoyed a lot. I am a big rooter for redemption and recovery and this hit some of those points. For the daughter in and out of jail. I loved how it ended because I felt she deserved it. I love rooting for characters that I loved. The small town vibes and the sibling relationships were great parts to this novel and I highly recommend!
